Busyness and Lack of Headspace is the new Battleground

At a time when lack of headspace and busyness is the new battleground, good customer experiences that entertain and provide a creative outlet will win in capturing consumers time and dollars.

Pottery Painting Cafe’s are a perfect place to create a venue to win in that arena – touch, feel, smell, taste, socialize and create!  A true “Gathering Place” in your community!

Where do 18-30 year olds hang out? Why not Pottery Painting Studio’s!

Those 18 -30 year old University, College or working young adults need places to socialize other than bars and restaurants! Pottery Painting Studio’s offer a great alternative for friends night out, date nights, theme nights and to be creative and have some fun without the bar environment. Espresso’s, cappuccino’s, latte’s and maybe beer and wine (if licensed) would provide a great space for them to gather and create. Does your studio have that cool, adult vibe? Why not host some events, advertise in local College and University newspapers or in their student handouts. Host 18-30 events only. Have your local travel agent that sells 18-30 tours like Contiki have an information night at your studio. Be your communities “Gathering Place” – socialize, create, unplug!

Silence and Solitude allows for renewal and reflection

Many people are focusing on the importance of renewal and reflection amidst our world of overwhelming and constant digital input.  Silence is one of the least-appreciated productivity tools.  The incessant buzz of everyday is only intensifying our desire for peace and solitude.

Pottery Painting Studio’s are a wonderful  place to come and create and paint in solitude if so desired.  Many Studio’s also offer clay and pottery wheel workshops and classes and there are always opportunities to create with clay on your own.

Eye Catching Window displays and Speed bumps get those creative juices flowing!

Spring is here! Decorate with umbrella’s, watering cans, rubber boots with flowers, bicycles, pineapples, kites, hula hoops – bright and cheery! Pottery Painting Studio’s are a great way to spend some time indoors during those April Showers creating bright, fun projects for those fabulous May Flowers!

Be sure to incorporate spring themed bisque within your displays, finished and unfinished – inspire away!

Gifts for that wonderful Dad of yours!

People are prioritizing exploration and experiences over material possessions.  Creating and spending time together which leads to memorable moments are now high on everyone’s priority list, as technology is coming at us so fast and furious!  Pottery Painting is a wonderful way to create those wonderful moments and to have something for show for it too!  Keepsakes that are priceless!

Touch and Tactility – what people are craving!

Everyone’s days are increasingly being shaped by devices and computer screens rather than real world, tactile interactions.  To make up for this loss, people are looking for experiences with actual touch and being in the same room and enjoying other people’s company.  Pottery Painting is an invitation for a sensory experience, touch, feel, socialize in person.  Adding coffee and baked goods or savory snack also adds to that sensory experience of smell and taste.  A true “Gathering Place” to create, socialize and unplug!

Celebrations around the world – Day of the Dead is a popular one!

Day of the Dead (known as Día de Muertos in Spanish) is celebrated in Mexico between October 31st and November 2nd. On this holiday, Mexicans remember and honor their deceased loved ones. It’s not a gloomy or morbid occasion, rather it is a festive and colorful holiday celebrating the lives of those who have passed on. Mexicans visit cemeteries, decorate the graves and spend time there, in the presence of their deceased friends and family members.

With so many bright colours to choose from, Pottery Painting is a great way to celebrate the Day of the Dead with family and friends.

The Magical World of Fairies!

Fairy house teapots, mushroom and houses – what is a fairy? A small imaginary being of human form that has magical powers, especially a female one. Fairies are a popular theme with pottery painters – imaginations can soar creating one of a kind masterpieces!
